Narvi Smooth Electric Sauna Heater

Product Description

The Narvi Smooth electric sauna heater fuses the exemplary build quality of Narvi sauna equipment, with a stylish, understated Nordic design. This electrical tower sauna heater with it's large stone capacity provides a freestanding, tall column of sauna stones heated by three long heating elements that run the length of the heater. These elements efficiently heat the sauna stones, creating an excellent soft "löyly" when water is thrown over them.

The market leading 8.5 mm thick heating elements warm the sauna very quickly and have an exceedingly long lifespan as well as low risk of overheating. The heater comes in two colour finishes, mirrored stainless steel and black and in three power ratings,  6.8kW, 9kW and 10.5kW variants depending on the size of your sauna. This heater can be easily installed on both single phase and three phase power supplies by a qualified electrician. Unlike most other tower sauna heaters, the Smooth boasts a simpler installation process, as the upper part of the heater can be removed to allow for easy placement of the lower stones within the heater. This is particularly useful as it reduces any risk of damaging the heater during installation and allows the stones to be more easily changed when required.

The small safety distances means the heater can be easily installed in more compact saunas, and the shape permits a corner installation to further save space. The Narvi Smooth and Narvi Softy both have the installation flange which can purchased as a sauna heater accessory to allow the heater to be installed within the benching. This is particularly useful in modern, stylised sauna installations.

Correct connection of your Narvi electrical sauna heater in the UK -

*Installation and maintenance must be done by a certified electrician

*Electricity supply must be isolated and/or switched off from the fuse panel prior to any installation or servicing work

*In accordance with European standard IEC 60364-7-703 part 703.412.5 an electrical sauna heater does not have to be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD). This is also in accordance with BS7671:2018 part 703.411.3.3.

*For reliable operation, Narvi strongly recommends that the power supply should not be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)

*Other electrical devices in a sauna room should be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)

*The power supply cable must comply with BS7671:2018

*The instruction manual of the product and local electrical regulations must be followed
