Description
This two-part kit weatherproofs the point where a wood-burning flue passes through a metal roof. The flashing is made from EPDM, a highly durable synthetic rubber membrane, edged with a flexible aluminium band and finished with a square base that moulds easily to most roof profiles; it suits pitches from 0° to 45°, pipe diameters of 170–355 mm, and pipe temperatures up to 115°C constant or 150°C intermittent. The 10 inch storm collar sits above the flashing to keep the roof passage watertight and to shield the rubber from extreme weather. Suitable for solid fuel appliances as well as gas and oil appliances, the kit is HETAS approved and CE marked.

Installation
Fit the flashing to the prepared hole and mould the base into the roof profile; it is easy to install. The storm collar should be fitted about 25 mm above the tallest part of the flashing. Once secure, run a bead of silicone around the top edge and the flue to complete the water tightness.
