FAQs

When do I need heat shielding for my sauna heater?

Heat shielding is required when the minimum safety distance between the sauna heater and combustible materials cannot be maintained. It is especially important for wood-burning sauna heaters, which generate higher temperatures and require larger safety clearances.

Why is flue heat shielding necessary?

Flue heat shielding protects the chimney and surrounding materials from excessive heat, reducing the risk of damage or fire hazards. It is crucial for maintaining a safe and durable sauna heating system and we would always recommend consulting a HETAS professional when installing your sauna flue or chimney kit.

Are these accessories compatible with all sauna heaters?

Finnmark offers a range of sauna heater accessories suitable for both wood-burning and electric sauna heaters. It’s important to check compatibility with your specific model before purchasing.
