Irina Ylänne got her inspiration for Hiekkarannalla (On a Sandy Beach) design from her childhood memories: “As a child you find shiny little treasures from the warm and sunny sandy shore and when you grow up you suddenly realise what the treasures really were – fresh and salty sea breeze, warm and soft sand, blue sky and the sunny summertime. The most valuable treasure that you can find on a sandy beach is a shared moment with your loved ones.”
