Every day for the next week, we will be sharing all the current fashion and trends to do with Sauna. What better way to start than to talk about sauna textiles. Jokipiin Pellava are a 3rd generation family business from Finland who specialise in linen sauna textiles. As dedicated sauna textiles become more and more popular, Jokipiin lead the way calling upon nearly 100 years of experience and expertise.

The current trend calls for muted tones and minimalist designs. Greys and natural linen tones work in harmony with wood in both modern and traditional saunas.

One benefit of Linen is its antimicrobial properties, helping your towels, robes and seat covers stay fresh for longer. An added bonus is that Linen only gets softer with age and use.

Finnmark were lucky enough to have a guided tour of the factory to see the Finnish craftsmanship involved in the production of these beautiful textiles. A full video documenting our visit is in on the way.
