Our Sauna Starter Kit in black brings the core tools of the hot room together in one coordinated finish. Rento's 5 litre colour-anodised aluminium sauna pail and matching ladle, both with heat-treated bamboo handles, handle the water for löyly, while Rento's round black aluminium thermometer keeps the temperature in view from the bench. Emendo's black wall rack set adds three 10 ml sauna scents (Salmiac, Pine and Sisu) in a black-painted wooden rack that keeps them tidy and within reach. Every piece shares the same dark, understated look, so the kit sits neatly in a modern sauna interior.

Using the bundle
Use the ladle to pour water from the pail over the hot stones, adding a few drops of scent to the ladle for a pleasant aroma. Shake the scent bottles well before use, and mount the rack away from the heater rather than leaving the bottles inside a hot sauna. Sauna thermometers are indicative rather than scientific instruments, as the heat in any sauna varies from spot to spot. Empty the pail and ladle after use and keep them out of the hot sauna between sessions, cleaning with mild, soapy water when needed.
