Thermory's alder KA moulding is a versatile trim for finishing the interior of a sauna. It resembles a cladding board without the tongue and groove, and its rounded front edges give a tidy appearance in a range of applications, from joining lengths of cladding to creating design features in a matching or contrasting timber. Alder is a popular choice for saunas: it resists twisting and warping, repels water, does not overheat, and has a light brown colour with warm pink undertones and a subtle scent of freshly cut hay. Each pack contains five 2400 mm lengths measuring 14 × 60 mm, and a minimum order of two packs may apply when the moulding is ordered on its own.

We recommend a wastage allowance of 15% for alder corner moulding, which also covers any risk of damage in transit. Contact us if you are unsure how much you need for your build.
Cutting service
We normally ship timber in lengths up to 2400 mm; longer lengths increase shipping costs significantly. If we do not stock your required length but have a longer one available, we can cut it down for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
