Description
The alder SI moulding is a corner trim that gives the interior of a sauna a smooth, considered finish. Fixed into the corners of the room and around the edges of the ceiling, its small concave face sits neatly against the cladding and covers any gaps where the panels meet the corner. Alder is a popular choice for saunas: it resists twisting and warping, repels water, does not overheat, and has a light brown colour with warm pink undertones and a subtle scent of freshly cut hay. Each moulding measures 14 × 30 mm and is sold singly, in a choice of 2100 mm or 2400 mm lengths.

We recommend a wastage allowance of 15% for alder corner moulding, which also covers any risk of damage in transit. Contact us if you are unsure how much you need for your build.
Cutting service
We normally ship timber in lengths up to 2400 mm; longer lengths increase shipping costs significantly. If we do not stock your required length but have a longer one available, we can cut it down for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
