Description
The Thermory T cover moulding is an aspen trim for joining shorter lengths of wall and ceiling cladding, extending the boards where sufficiently long timber cannot be supplied. Its rounded front edges and slim visible face keep the joint discreet, and joining shorter lengths can reduce the overall timber cost of a build. It is especially useful in large or commercial saunas and wellness suites, though it also introduces a deliberate line of visual contrast in a standard room. Made from aspen, our palest sauna timber with a straight, even grain, each moulding measures 17 × 32 mm by 2400 mm and is supplied in packs of two.

Timber
Aspen is our lightest sauna wood, with a uniform, straight grain and a colour that ranges from light brown to nearly white. It carries few to no knots and does not weep resin, one of the reasons for its popularity in home saunas. For a bolder scheme, aspen mixes well with a darker timber.
Quality & Wastage
This is A-grade timber, characterised by its durability, freedom from knots and low risk of splintering. As a natural product, there is some colour variation between packs and batches. We recommend a wastage allowance of 15%, which also covers any risk of damage in transit.
Installation & Care
The T moulding covers the joint where two shorter cladding boards meet, so shorter wall panels can be used as interior cladding. Its visible part is thinner than most other mouldings, which keeps it unobtrusive once installed.

Timber orders travel on a palletised shipping service due to their size, and delivery may be a kerbside drop with handballing off the vehicle. We normally ship lengths up to 2400 mm. If you need a shorter length than we stock, our cutting service can trim a longer board for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
