Description
The Thermory UK moulding is an aspen cover trim that finishes the sauna interior by concealing untidy joints between cladding panels. It is elegant, simple to install and one of those finishing touches that lifts the whole build. Made from aspen, our palest sauna timber with a uniform, straight grain and few to no knots, it sits quietly alongside aspen cladding or adds a light line against a darker wood. Each moulding measures 12 × 42 mm by 2400 mm and is supplied in packs of five.

Timber
Aspen is our lightest sauna wood, with a uniform, straight grain and a colour that ranges from light brown to nearly white. It carries few to no knots and does not weep resin, one of the reasons for its popularity in home saunas. For a bolder scheme, aspen mixes well with a darker timber.
Quality & Wastage
This is A-grade timber, characterised by its durability, freedom from knots and low risk of splintering. As a natural product, there is some colour variation between packs and batches. We recommend a wastage allowance of 15%, which also covers any risk of damage in transit.
Installation & Care
The UK moulding fixes over joints between cladding panels to leave a clean interior finish, and it is straightforward to install.

Ordering & Delivery
Timber orders travel on a palletised shipping service due to their size, and delivery may be a kerbside drop with handballing off the vehicle. We normally ship lengths up to 2400 mm. If you need a shorter length than we stock, our cutting service can trim a longer board for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
