Emendo's Sauna Christmas Gift Set pairs a seasonal sauna scent with a natural salt soap, ready for gifting or for your own Christmas löyly. The 500 ml Joulu Christmas scent contains 100% essential oils with no synthetic perfumes: add ½ dl to around 3 litres of water and throw over the hot stones. Alongside it sits a 240 g Himalayan salt soap made from 100% pure Himalayan salt, traditionally valued for cleansing the skin and said to help maintain its moisture balance. Both come from Emendo, the Finnish sauna and wellness company.

Using the sauna scent
Shake the scent oil well before use. Add ½ dl of the fragrance to around 3 litres of water and throw over the hot stones of the sauna stove, then enjoy the aroma. Rinse the ladle after use and avoid leaving the bottle inside a hot sauna.
Using the salt soap
The salt soap is used like an ordinary bar: wet it and roll it in your hands for a moment. If you wish, the soap can be left on the skin to work while you sit in the sauna, and Emendo notes it can also be used as a deodorant. Salt is traditionally valued for cleansing and disinfecting the skin, and its minerals are said to help nourish it and maintain its moisture balance.
