Please note: The 9kw version of this heater is only suitable for three-phase connection. 

The wall mountable Cup electric sauna heater by Helo is a classic choice in the electric heater range. The enduring popularity is in the model’s timeless appearance, durability and ease of use. With the Cup sauna heater’s basic functions, it is an ideal choice for small and standard sized sauna rooms between 5m3-14m3, depending on the required power rating.  

Cup Electric sauna heater has a stone capacity of 23 kg that offers a soft and gentle steam. We recommend the smaller Vulcanite Sauna Stones (<10cm). The heater body is lightweight and easy to mount on the wall of the sauna. The Cup STJ model has integrated controls and a timer in a 9-hour pre-selection range.

This heater must be installed by a qualified electrician. 4.5kW, 6kW and 8kW models can be easily installed on both single phase 240V and three phase 400V power supplies. The 9kW model must be installed on a three phase supply.

Correct connection of your Helo electric sauna heater in the UK:

*Installation and maintenance must be done by a certified electrician

*Electricity supply must be isolated and/or switched off from the fuse panel prior to any installation or servicing work

*In accordance with European standard IEC 60364-7-703 part 703.412.5 an electrical sauna heater does not have to be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD). This is also in accordance with BS7671:2018 part 703.411.3.3.

*For reliable operation, Helo strongly recommends that the power supply should not be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)

*Other electrical devices in a sauna room should be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)

*The power supply cable must comply with BS7671:2018

*We always recommend a local point of isolation that isolates ALL LIVE CONDUCTORS (live and neutral)

*The instruction manual of the product and local electrical regulations must be followed
