The Hanko electric sauna heater features Helo's modern design in a compact size. It fits into small spaces and offers a gentle, pleasant heat.
Hanko is the result of a meticulous design process that fulfils even the most demanding sauna enthusiast’s needs. This electric sauna heater is handcrafted at Helo’s Hanko factory in the south of Finland, using high-quality raw materials. The heater is named after the idyllic port town of Hanko, which is the most southern part of Finland by the Baltic Sea.
Despite the small size of the compact Hanko electric sauna heater, it holds a remarkable 32kg of stones that offer a gentle and soft steam. The heater body itself is lightweight and easy to install.
Hanko electric sauna heater comes in 6kW and 8kW, making it suitable for saunas between 5-12m3. The Hanko STJ-model has an integrated thermostat with an upper limit reset and 3 + 9h timer.

This heater must be installed by a qualified electrician and can be easily installed on both single phase 240V and three phase 400V power supplies.
Correct connection of your Helo electrical sauna heater in the UK:
*Installation and maintenance must be done by a certified electrician
*Electricity supply must be isolated and/or switched off from the fuse panel prior to any installation or servicing work
*In accordance with European standard IEC 60364-7-703 part 703.412.5 an electrical sauna heater does not have to be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD). This is also in accordance with BS7671:2018 part 703.411.3.3.
*For reliable operation, Helo strongly recommends that the power supply should not be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)
*Other electrical devices in a sauna room should be connected through a Residual Current Device (RCD)
*The power supply cable must comply with BS7671:2018
*We always recommend a local point of isolation that isolates ALL LIVE CONDUCTORS (live and neutral)
*The instruction manual of the product and local electrical regulations must be followed
