Description
The HUUM chimney set for through the ceiling installations takes the flue straight up from the top of a HUUM wood burning sauna heater, through the ceiling and out above the roof. Compatible with all HUUM wood burning heaters, the set includes everything the vertical run needs: two 1 m double-wall chimney sections, a welded chimney base, a double-wall cover plate for sloped ceilings, a roof rafter attachment, a roof penetration for inclinations of 0–20 degrees, a rain collar and a chimney cap. The heater and sauna stones are sold separately, and HUUM requires the stove and flue to be installed by a chimney specialist.

Connecting the stove to the chimney
The sauna stove must be connected to the chimney by a specialist. The flue gas outlet is on the top of the stove.
The stove is connected to the chimney with special flue pipes, which may be caulked with heat-resistant sealing rope where necessary. Curves in the connection elbows must be smooth to minimise draught loss, and the pipe is inserted through the wall of the chimney and sealed with mineral wool. The flue gases must be directed into a separate flue; it is forbidden to use a common flue shared with other furnaces.
As specified by HUUM, forced extract ventilation might cause problems with the air exchange of the room and the sufficiency of combustion air for the furnace; designing and constructing such ventilation systems is permitted only on the sole responsibility of a licensed specialist.
