This movable step element from Thermory adds two ready-made aspen steps to almost any sauna bench arrangement. Built at 700 × 700 mm, with the upper step at 500 mm and the lower at 260 mm, it eases the climb to the top bench and gives a DIY sauna project a neat, finished look without any fabrication work. Aspen is the lightest of our sauna woods, with a uniform, straight grain, few to no knots and a colour that runs from light brown to nearly white. It also releases no resin, one of the reasons it remains such a popular choice for home saunas. Keep the whole interior pale and calm, or pair it with a darker timber for a bolder contrast.

Aspen is our lightest sauna wood, with a uniform, straight grain and few to no knots, ranging in colour from light brown to nearly white. It does not weep resin, which makes it a favourite for home sauna interiors. For a bolder look, aspen mixes well with a darker timber elsewhere in the room.

Ordering & Delivery
Timber orders travel on a palletised shipping service and may require a kerbside drop or handballing off the freight vehicle. Costs are calculated at checkout and differ between UK Mainland, Highland and Island postcodes. We normally ship lengths of up to 2400 mm; beyond that, shipping costs rise significantly. If we do not stock your required length but have a longer one available, our cutting service can cut it down for a small fee: you purchase the full length and the off-cut is added to the pallet.
