Thermory's movable thermo aspen sauna bench is a ready-made element that slots into almost any bench arrangement, and a practical, budget-friendly choice for DIY sauna projects. It measures 400 mm wide by 700 mm long and stands 350 mm high, and because it is freestanding it can be repositioned whenever you like. Thermo aspen is created by heat-treating the timber, which lowers its moisture content for a tough, rot-resistant structure that releases no resin in the heat and humidity of a sauna; the straight, knot-free grain carries a honey-brown colour and a pleasant, toasted scent. The natural process reduces the wood's moisture levels, giving it a tough, rot-resistant structure that does not secrete resin in the high temperatures and moisture-rich environment of a sauna. If we stock a longer length than you need, our cutting service can cut it down for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
