Description

The Ralva Small is the smallest cabin in the range and the one that asks least of a garden. The rounded form is what sets it apart. There are no square corners on the building at all, and the curve runs from the roof down through the sides to the base, framed in black painted spruce against thermally modified pine. Inside, an L-shaped two-tier bench in thermo alder and aspen sits beneath a full glass front of bronze tinted tempered glass, which brings the garden into the room without putting the room on display. Black bitumen shingles cover the roof, a thermowood floor grate and drain clear water from the floor, and 42mm staves hold the heat once the room is up to temperature.
