Thermory's thermo aspen bench module is a ready-made sauna bench element built around a 140 mm finger-jointed and glued front board. Thermo aspen is thermally modified: natural heat treatment reduces the timber's moisture content, leaving a tough, rot resistant board that secretes no resin in the heat and humidity of a sauna. The grain is straight and knot free, with a honey-brown colouration and a pleasant, toasted scent. Modules come in 2100 mm and 2400 mm lengths and 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm widths, making them a practical, budget-friendly route into DIY sauna benching.
