Description
This ready-made edge module by Thermory finishes the left-hand corner of a sauna bench, giving the benching a clean, resolved look. It is made from thermo aspen, a heat-treated timber with a tough, rot-resistant structure that releases no resin in the heat and humidity of the sauna, a straight, knot-free grain and a warm honey-brown colour. The module is 200 mm wide with a substantial 140 mm thickness, and comes in 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm lengths to suit your bench. Thermo aspen is created by heat-treating soft timber. The treatment reduces the moisture content of the wood, giving it a tough, rot-resistant structure that does not secrete resin in the high temperatures and humidity of a sauna. The grain is straight and knot-free, the scent pleasantly toasted and the colour a warm honey-brown.

Ordering and delivery
Timber orders are typically shipped on a palletised service and may require a kerbside drop or handballing off the vehicle; shipping is calculated at checkout and differs between UK Mainland, Highland and Island postcodes. Lengths of up to 2400 mm ship at standard rates, while longer lengths cost significantly more. If you need a shorter length than we stock, our cutting service can trim a longer board to size for a small fee, with the off-cut added to the pallet.
