The Thermory T cover moulding is a practical profile that joins cladding boards end to end, extending shorter wall and ceiling panels into one continuous run. That makes it especially useful in large or commercial saunas and wellness suites, where sufficiently long timber cannot always be supplied, and it can be a cost-effective way to use shorter lengths in a standard sauna too. The visible face is thinner than most mouldings, with rounded front edges, so it stays discreet in the finished room. Cut from heat-treated thermo aspen at 17 × 32 mm and supplied in 2400 mm lengths as a pack of two; please note a minimum order of two packs may apply when bought on its own rather than as part of a larger order.

Profile
The T moulding's primary function is to extend the lengths of wall and ceiling cladding where shorter panels are used. It is especially useful in large or commercial spec saunas and wellness suites, where it is not possible to supply sufficiently long timber, and joining shorter lengths can also be cost-effective in standard size saunas, or introduce an element of visual contrast. Timber
Thermo aspen is created by heat-treating soft timber. The treatment reduces the moisture level of the wood, giving it a tough, rot-resistant structure that does not secrete resin in the high temperatures and moisture-rich environment of a sauna. The grain is straight and knot free, with a honey-brown colouration and a pleasant, toasted scent, making it an easy timber to keep looking its best.
Quality & Wastage
Our thermo aspen timber is A-grade: durable, knot free and at low risk of splintering. We recommend a wastage allowance of 15% for thermo aspen mouldings, which also covers any risk of damage in transit. Expect some natural variation in colour from length to length.
