Description
The UKU Sauna Control Panel Cover in Black Glass is supplied as the panel only and requires the UKU control system main module, sold separately, in order to function. Once connected it operates the electric sauna heater’s functions with a few clicks of a single button, with a child safety lock built in. Unlike the plastic version, the glass-cased panel may be installed inside the sauna room itself: it recesses into the wall, with its upper edge no higher than 1 m from the floor and at least 50 cm from any exhaust ventilation. Where recessing is not possible, HUUM’s surface mounting frame is available separately.

Installation
The glass panel recesses into a 65 × 105 × 27 mm opening; the glass front lifts off its magnets for fixing, and screw heads should be insulated where the wall contains conductive materials. The panel cable to the UKU main module must not exceed 20 m and must not be routed parallel to high-current cables. Installation and maintenance must be carried out by a certified electrician, with the electricity supply isolated at the fuse panel before any work begins. The installation manual in the Downloads tab and local wiring regulations must be followed.
