Description
VipaBoard is a lightweight, insulated construction board designed as a base for all tile types, cement-based screeds and synthetic renders. Its core is high-density extruded polystyrene, which gives the board excellent insulating properties, while a factory-applied reinforced cement coating adds impact strength, sound reduction and fire resistance. The board is resistant to water, so it suits areas subject to prolonged or permanent immersion, and it enhances underfloor heating systems by reducing downward heat loss. It fixes with cement-based flexible tile adhesive or with dowels and washers; solvent-based or ready-mixed adhesives must not be used. Three sizes are available: 12.5 × 1200 × 600 mm, 30 × 1200 × 600 mm and 30 × 2400 × 600 mm.

Fixing
Fix VipaBoard using cement-based flexible tile adhesive; solvent-based or ready-mixed adhesives must not be used. Alternatively, the board can be fixed using dowels and washers. Once fixed, it provides a stable surface for tiles, synthetic renders and decorative plaster.
Notes
The trademarks DeltaBoard and VipaBoard can be used interchangeably for this product.
